Wonderful fond memories of Debbie, Mrs Jay..and the entire Jay family. Debbie was indeed my best friend in childhood and those memories are with me still. We had many adventures, and much joy. May her soul rest in peace.

Debbie was my closest childhood friend..back fence neighbors..for better and for worse (her broken arm from scaling the fence!). My life was so enriched, being part of the Jay family! Such fond memories! Those early Buffalo roots keep calling me home!
I was honored to meet Danny and Lauren when Debbie came to Denver for the Day of Caring 6 years ago. My daughter Allegra and I got to visit Debbie and Dan..and so the circle lives on.
Mt heart and prayers go out to the Curtin/Jay family. Debbie embodied loveliness and grace. You/she will always be remembered, close in my heart.
Much love,
Francine

I knew Debbie as my boss and friend of 10 years. She taught me so much thru her inner strength and compassion for everyone. She was a remarkable woman, who always looked at the bright side of every situation. I will always miss her. My thoughts and prayers go to Dan and her children (family)

We knew Debbie as a woman of incredible strength, dignity, and grace. Even in the last several months, she always offered a warm greeting over the backyard fence – without a hint of complaint about her illness. Our life is richer for having known her. We’ll miss her…and we’ll remember her.

Debbie was one of those rare people who really makes the world a better place. She took her illness as a chance to help others. I know that she was a great friend to me when both my mother and I went through Cancer and served as an inspiration to me through it all. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. The world lost one of the good ones.

Dan, Lauren & family,
I've known Debbie for over 24 years and have shared laughter, hope, wisdom, books and life with her. Her spirit and her friendship will always remain with me. My world and the world of so many others will be smaller without her in it. My very sincerest condolences to you at this difficult time.

Dear Curtin and Jay families,
I just want you all to know how lucky I feel to have known Deb. As I told some of our fellow classmates, Debbie and I spent many double dates together in High School - so much fun so long ago. And then we renewed and reconnected our friendship over the past few years with "ladies" lunches and dinners.
She was gracious, beautiful, and courageous in her battle against breast cancer, as she was with whatever she believed in. I am proud to have known her and proud that she called me her friend. My life has been made so much richer for knowing Deb.

Lauren, Dan & Family,
Deb was an admirable inspiration which influenced my own life and I was glad to have known her. Her love for her family was always evident and the fact that she was an advocate for others with a disease that was her constant companion was a noble accomplishment. Keep your memories of her close and you will always feel her near.
