Dear Raquel, Helen, Bill, and Kathy:
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mr. Shay. I will always remember him as the fun-loving young man who visited Spain when Bill Jr. and I were stationed there. I also remember his generous hospitality towards me when I visited the Shay home in Cheektowaga so many years ago. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Dear Rocky, Helen and family
I am so sorry to hear about Mr Shay. It seems like not so long ago we were all at the beach celebrating Helen's birthday and drinking pina coladas or at Old Home Days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs Shay, Helen, Dicky, Kathy and family,
I want to tell you all how sorry we are for your loss. I am glad to have had a chance to visit him this past weekend while visiting in Buffalo.
I have so many fond memories of your family growing up next door. We were all like family. I know he is not suffering anymore and is probably playing Pinochle with my Dad, Mrs. Ray and Mr. Marciniac and looking down at all of us smiling.
Our thoughts and prayer are with each of you.
Love Debbie & Joe Rabener

I am so sorry to hear about Mr.Shay. He will be missed. The one thing I remember is when I moved to Atlanta and years later went back to see you and he told me to call him Bill, and I told him that I couldn't because I only knew him as Mr. Shay. He was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all Karen and Bob Diana

Bill, Carolyn and Family, please accept our deepest heartfelt condolences for the tremendous loss of your father. I've never met Mr. Shay, but I feel like I know him from the many stories you've told at work. From my perspective, he was a great man who fought a long and hard battle and through it all still managed to keep his sense of humor. I admire him for that. He has left his family with many great memories..... continue to hold them near and dear to your heart and it will help you through the tender moments.

Dear Rocky, Helen, Kathy & Bill....we were all saddened to hear of the passing of your dear husband/father. Our memories of him will always be of a kind and loving man who was devoted to and loved by his family. Someone who's appetite to help anyone in need was only surpassed by his appetite to eat. Boy did he love his food !! We will sorely miss his boyish smile and his gentle way. May God welcome him into His eternal Kingdom and may his memory forever live in your hearts.

With our deepest condolenscenes,

Gina-n-Tony, Nicole, Chris and Joey

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Bill's family. Bill was such a great person, positive and optimistic throughout his battle. Bill and I enjoyed watching and talking high school hockey over the last many winters.

Bill,
I will never forget the trip to your parent's home and how gracious they were. I felt like part of the family. I feel like that now. Although I had only meet your dad a few times, I feel like I have lost a close friend. He was a wonderful man and fought hard and bravely through this. He always seem to do his best to keep the burden from you and your mom and the rest of the family. I guess that is what good fathers do. He will be greatly missed by many but has left some good people to carry on for him.
Please accept Diane and my warmest and heart felt sympathies. We are thinking of you all. Please give your mom a hug for me.
