When I think about Cardell, I think about when we were the only black families on East Ferry Street. I also think about how you chased me home at times as a child when I came down to play with Trudy. Lets not forget your first job when you collected bottles as a kid. I think about so many many childhood memories and am thankful for them!
Today, I think about how much you will be missed by your family and friends. I also find joy in the fact that you are now smiling with Mom, Dad, James and Hattie Mae.
To the family, be strong because you know he would have acccepted nothing less. Now we have to live right so we can see him again.
