Carmella Calandra Obituary

CALANDRA - Carmella (nee Loffredo) August 20, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Calandra; dearest mother of Joseph (Gail M.), Peter (Gail A.), Michael (Cynthia) and Mary Lynn (Peter) Messina; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Charles) Hunter, Sarah (Bradford) Stanford, Meredith, Christopher, Nicholas, Alexis, Cameron, Gabrielle Calandra and Cara Messina; great-grandmother of Kassidy, McKenzie, Hailey Calandra and Anthony Cox; sister of Anthony Loffredo, Gert (Ronald) LoTempo, the late Lucy Minneci and Peter Loffredo; sister-in-law of Charles Minneci. The family will be present on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel), AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (at Parker Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Christophers Church on Monday at 10:30 AM. Friends invited. Burial will be in Bradenton, Florida on Friday. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, memorials may be made to the Beechwood/Blocher Foundation, 2235 Millersport Hwy., Amherst N.Y., 14068. Online register book at www.Amigone.com

Thank you to all our friends and family who have helped us at this very sad time. To Beechwood Staff and Ellicott Creek Volunteers, we are so very grateful. To Bill at Amigone thank you for making this difficult process more bearable. My brothers, myself and our families are blessed to have such caring people in our lives.
