Dorothy DeBacy Obituary

DeBACY - Dorothy L. Honey (nee Babcock) Of Lancaster, NY. August 22, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel; loving mother of Diane L. and Judith K.; sister of Marian (late Clarence) Neff, Dwight Budger (late Ethel), Audrey Babcock of Florida, and the late Catherine (late Leo) Murphy, late Orlo Babcock, late Margaret (late Lloyd) Hoover; sister in law of Carol (late Robert) Teague of North Carolina; also survived by several nieces, a devoted god-daughter Susan Hannel, nephews, and friends. Honey was a consummate care-giver for both friends and relatives. She was a volunteer at the Niagara Lutheran Home of Buffalo for over 30 years, as well as a member of Lancaster Citizens Hose Company Auxiliary, and the Lancaster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for decades. She was an excellent cook and a self-proclaimed restaurant critic. Burial private. Arrangements by WENDEL & LOECHER INC.
