Edward Young Obituary

YOUNG - Edward E. August 24, 2008, of Amherst, NY, beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (OHeir); dear father of Sandra (Gerald) Hudson, Ronald (Judith) Young, Barbara (Byron) Dunker; dear grand-father of Jill and Ryan Zarazinski, Gregory and Lisa Dunker; brother of the late B. Lucille (James) Hennrich; uncle of Edward H. Hennrich; brother-in-law of Dolores Balestrieri, Sharon (Arthur) McNally and Frances OHeir; also sur-vived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Young was a WW II Veteran and served with the 62nd Armored Infantry Regi-ment. He was a purchasing agent for the Wild Root Co. in Buffalo until its closing. In 1963 he started his own bus-iness, Youngs Stationery, and retired 33 years later at the age of 81. After retirement, he was a volunteer for the Amherst Meals on Wheels program. Friends may call Wednesday, August 27, 2-4 and 7-9, at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 2480 Ken-sington Ave., where services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Greenfield Health & Rehab Center or Hospice.
