Bronislaus Stanley "Brownie" Wojcik

WOJCIK - Bronislaus Stanley Brownie August 28, 2008. Beloved husband of Verna Gladys (nee Brooks); dearest father of Linda Bernadette (Genadi) Ponomarenko. Brother of Eugene H. (late Norma) Wojcik and the late Marian (William) Snow; survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM and from St. John Gualbert Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Brownie served in the US Army, a 45 year retiree from Bell Aerospace/Textron as an aerospace engineer, a member of St. John Gualbert Holy Name Society serving as past director and Sgt. at Arms, a Eucharistic Minister and an Adult Altar Server.
