Barbara was a wise and insightful person. We agreed on many topics and also had some wonderful debates. I will always remember her love of books and sympathetic, caring nature. She will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to her family especially John Charles whom she truly loved and frequently spoke of -- she always said he was 100% Benz.

I am so sorry for all of Barb's family and all her friends. Barb and I worked together for a brief period of time and became good friends. We have spent very special times together for the last 32 years. I will DEEPLY miss my very special friend.
She had a talent for making you laugh and what a wonderful kind and gentle person she was. If only she knew how loved she was.

Dear Benz Family,

I was so sorry to see in the paper that Barb has died. I know only too well what it is like to lose a sibling. I have great memories of our childhood and all the games we played. Barbie was always lots of fun. I stopped to visit with your mom a few years ago and did not know that she has since died. My thoughts and prayers for all of you.

With warmest regards,

I WORKED ALONG SIDE BARBARA FOR THE PAST 29 YEARS. SHE WAS THE BEST CO-WORKER & FRIEND ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. THERE WILL BE THIS HUGE HOLE LEFT AT ADDS THAT CANNOT BE FILLED. I WILL MISS HER COLORFUL COLLOQUIALISMS. I WILL HOLD ON TO HER MEMORIES AND SPEAK OF HER FONDLY IN FUTURE CONVERSATIONS SHARED WITH OTHER CO-WORKERS.

Oh my goodness, I just happened to be looking at the paper today in search of something and came upon this very very tragic news. I used to do Barbaras nails for many many years. She was one of my favorite clients, I had no idea she was sick, and I feel just terrible. My prayers are with ehr family. Robin Olejniczak
