Dear Cheryl, Rachael, and all friends and relations of Joe (Babe) DiVita,
Joe influenced my early life and its foundation as much as any other man's impact. As teenagers we spent every day together for years. Later, he was the "best man" at my wedding. Twice! We were inseparable to the extent that I refused to travel with my family to Florida on our annual Easter vacation unless Joe could come with us. It was during these Florida trips that Joe's spiritual depth raised my own awareness to new levels. Babe's inner depth of love and gratitude came to light on the Florida trips when he forced my dad to stop travel every Sunday so he could attend church and thank God for his eternal grace and mercy. Although much of our time together was spent as "boy's being boy's", it was our quite times together that had its greatest impact. Joe is definately in heaven! Joe's "God awareness" forced me to take a deeper look into myself. This had the long term effect that, in recent years, I have authored two books on the study of God's word found in Holy Scripture. Whoda thought Joe had that kind of influence on anyone? I welcome anyone to contact me to share some of the hundreds of stories on why we all loved Joe so much, and his personal effect on our lives.

Cheryl,Rachel, Kathy, Karen, and Sue....The world is a sadder place today. It is without a wonderful caring father, husband and friend to many. Joe was more than my cousin...he was like a brother to me. He was my confidant and soulmate. I could tell him anything and we had many thoughtful conversations reflecting on when his family and mine lived together when were kids. Celebrate his life as he lived it and cherish the memories you made together...Joe, you are in a place where the sun always shines and there is always a great wind....Love, Anthony Caggiano
