(nee Benford) September 1, 2008; beloved mother of Domonique Wilson, Tori, Romont, Kirk, and Damon Thompson; dearest grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; dearest sister of Betty Roberts, Lillian Benford, Forrest Benford, Carol (Charles) Steele; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and godchildren. The family will be present Friday from 10-11 AM in the Saints Home Church of God in Christ, 323 Winspear Ave, Buffalo, NY, where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my Aunt Beverly. The pictures and the memories of her and her children will always stay with me. The Buffalo Family reunion she guided was special because my late brother Forrest made his reunion debut.She is at peace now and will always be remembered.

To all my cousins, I'm am so sorry for the loss of my Aunt Beverly, she was like Devolia and my sister as well as our aunt. I can remember her alway coming to get us for the summers or just vacations from Quincy to Buffalo, they are some of my greatest memories. I Love you all and is praying for your strength at the loss of mommy.

Dear Domonique, Tori, Romont, Kirk and Damon,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I worked with your mom at Millard for 18 yrs. She was always so proud to show you off when you visited the hospital. Truly, she loved you all. She was a great woman, a loving mother and grandmother.
I am sorry I am unable to be there to say goodby. I know that she is up there now with her good friend Salie Sanders and together they will give God a run for His money!!
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Thompson family. May God bless you all.

Dear Godmom,
I see it was your time to be with the Lord...I am hurt that he took you from us so so soon but then I had to realize; it's his turn now. You have truly been a great asset to my children and my life. I swear days are not going to be the same without you. Those Xmas Eve parties, man you always made them so special. I just sit back and think of all the times we had to clean the house before you came home from work....and oh boy, if it wasn't clean when you got home. I just want you to know that I LOVE YOU dearly and you will always be in my heart. Go ahead and rest now, you are at peace. Just make sure you keep looking down on us because I will keep looking up at you.
