From the Children of Roy Luchey:
Enters a young man with sin and the world in his heart, captured by the words that he hears at the door by loving christian brothers and sisters, he hears his masters voice and changes his life. He shakes the dust off of his feet and leaves the world and it's ways behind him and moves forward to a spiritual paradise, always keeping his eyes on the prize. He loved Jehovah and the truth so much that he made sure that he shared it with everyone, leading by example, making the truth his own. Never judging, but always lending an ear or a helping hand. He truly loved Jehovah's people and wanted all to share the beautiful hope of everlasting life. He truly knew Jehovah and established a lifelong relationship with him. What better father could anyone ask for? He set a good example as a father and husband to my mother Sharilee for >27 years and later to Maxine. Sure, he was a wonderful provider financially and emotionally, but, his greatest gift of all to his children was the Truth. How blessed we were, first of all to have such a wonderful man as our father (wonderful is an understatement, his qualities were enormous), but to have given us the knowledge of the Truth , Jehovah and his son Jesus and the great gift of eternal life that is available to all who follow him. What a gift!! Trully we were blessed to have someone that faithful in our presence daily. How encouraging he always was. Never judging, always loving, always fatherly, and always reminding us of Jehovah and his love for us. No matter what we may have done to let him down, my father NEVER stopped loving us, or kissing us or hugging us!! The brevity of our loss is deep and heavy. Our hearts are aching and screaming with pain, we are still in disbelief. Yet, we have sooooo... may friends and family to help us through this time. We would like to thank all of you for your kind words and deeds. You have truly been comforting in these days of immense sorrow, pain and loss. We know Jehovah has him written in his book of life. He will be back!! I can't wait to see that Owl look again, saying "oh you made it, so you listened to your father after all" (smile). Yes dad, your children heard your voice of encouragement and will do all we can to make sure that we see you again in Paradise. You were an excellent example to your children and we thank you for giving us the key to real happiness....the Truth! All we have left is memories for now, but, soon we will be able to kiss you again. Until then...............entered a man with sin, exited a loving, faithful man of Jehovah!!

Dearest Maxine and rest of Roy Luchey's family. We learned many good things from Roy, so I think of him as a friend gone on a journey who I expect to see again when he returns just as Jehovah has promised his faithful ones at Ecclesiastes 7:1. Also, as Jesus assures us at John 11:25 when he said "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." One of Roy and Maxine's many friends, Loretta and family

Dear Maxine and Family,
What a beautiful testimony as to the warm, caring and compassionate person Roy was displayed today at the Memorial Service.
Both Kingdom Halls were filled, there was standing room only and then some. May you all feel the warm loving support of Jehovah's organization as it embraces and comforts you. Our prayers of concern are always with you.

To My Loving Nieces & Nephews, Rachael, David, Jonathan & Terah, My prayers are with you during this difficult time of your great loss. Always treasure the special warm memories that your family shared growing up. Your father was a man whom possessed a great wealth of wisdom, kindness, love and compassion for others. Carry on the legacy of love, kindness, respect, and trustworthiness that he had for others. He knew that each one of you loved, cared and honored him. When you are faced ahead with the raging storms of life, you can feel his warm spirit on a cold day, On a hot day the sun's warm rays will warm your soul, on a winter's day, his warm spirit will melt the frigid weather, on rainy days he will help to wah away your fears and tears. Know that he is safe resting tin God's arms free from pain and worry.
No one can ever take the special place that he held in his heart for the love he carried for each of you. Know that he is free, and smiling gently on you. He has not left you, but he is shining and smiling from above with the Lord! God knows best, when he puts us through the test, snd I know that each of you will not fail! Keep the love of Jehovah, and ask him to continue to guide and keep you in the days ahead. I love you all dearly. Your Aunt "Sweet Peaches"!
