John Borsuk was my art teacher from 1977-1981. He was a fabulous teacher who really cared about his students. He was very knowledgeable, often brutally honest and always kind.

Mr. Borsuk was the "best" teacher I ever had. I only had him for 1/2 semester. He was teaching "Humanities" for the very first time when I took it in 1969. It was this course that made me the person I am today! I am not sure how this course developed after I graduated but I hope he was able to make other young adults as rounded as I am by introducing the Humanities to them also! My deepest sympathy to the family and may he rest in peace.

Mr. Borsuk was my art teacher at JFK from 1974 to 1978. He also taught me mechanical drawing. He and my Dad (Don Hyzy) were great friends. I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

Mr. Borsuk was my art teacher in the mid 70's. I wish to extend my condolences to the family as he was such a special individual who will be remembered not only for his tough art critiques but also for listening to the kids. He truly was an inspiration as he gave of himself to help all kids. He will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to the family. God Bless.
