Dear Schooping family,

I was saddened to hear about your dad. He was a fixture on Kirkwood Drive that can never be replaced!! He was truly one of a kind.

I remember how he took pride in his meticulous lawn, not a blade out of place!! The hours that were used to putter around the house (and on top of the house!!) were a daily reminder of the energy he had well into his later years.

I remember the times at 14 Isle Lake, motor home trips where all of us Smith kids would cram in with the Schooping kids. Looking back, wow - what patience Mr. & Mrs. Schooping had!! Dinners at Gandys, trips to Letchworth, snowmobile trips to the "440", swimming in your pool all summer long with him coming home from work to a pool full of neighborhood kids screaming, "MAKO"!

We will all miss your dad's smile, sense of humor and perhaps most of all, the smell of his pipe on Kirkwood Dr.

Love,
Donna (Duck) Smith-Phelan

Schooping Family- I cant even begin to express how much Bob brought to my life. Helping him with Jo was not a job to me, it was more than that. He was like a grandfather to me, the wonderful conversations that we had about everything from friends to family, he always made me laugh. I loved when he told me about the good ol' days. I'll never forget the first time he and jo brought me to 14 isle lake, I loved it, even more when he took me out on the boat and went fishing. This is memories that I will never forget. It wont be the same without him here. I am so lucky to have known such a wonderful man. My prayers are with you guys always

Schooping Family:
I an so sad to hear about your dad.
I have such wonderful memories of Bob growing up on Kirkwood Drive, and realize now how much he was a part of them....
I will never forget the motor home trips to Letchworth, 14 Isle Lake,
how he used to tell me he had a pet skunk in his basement that he fed perfume, (Esmeralda), and I believed him, the smell of his cigar, that when I last saw him in July, I told him how I loved that smell, and he gave me that laugh of his that I will never, ever forget.
As we are all getting older, and he was getting me confused as to which Smith sister I am, I knew in my heart he knew it was Hunky, even if that was not the name he used.
I will never forget how special your dad was. We are all so lucky to have had him in our lives. Kirkwood Drive will never be the same with out him.
Love,
Hunky Dory
