Theodore Spanitz Obituary

SPANITZ - Theodore F. Ted September 24, 2008 of Lancaster, NY. Beloved husband of the late Rita (Brady); loving father of Beverly (Ron) Polanski, Dave (Donna) Spanitz, James (Ruth) Spanitz; cherished grandpa of Phillip, Adam, Drew and Anthony; dear brother of Betty (Chuck) Gerlock, Dex (Pat) Spanitz, Franklin (Barbara) Spanitz and the late Dorothy (late Bill) Moss; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present Saturday 4-8 PM at the KAZMIERCZAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3640 Clinton St. (one block east of Union Rd.), with funeral services to follow at 8 PM. Ted was an Army veteran of WWII, a member of I.U.O.E. Local 17, and an avid baseball fan.

David and family, I'm truly sorry to hear that Ted had died. As you may have heard my mother had her surgery on Fri and I was not made aware of your dads death until Sat afternoon and just now did I find out about the calling hours other wise I would have been there to pay my respects. I always like Ted he was and in my mind is a great guy and a good friend of our family for many years. Your family is in our prayers.
