MAXINE, MAURINE AND JONATHAN:
We worked with Dr Berens for 7 years. He held himself and everyone around him to a very high professional standard. Patients First! Everything else came second. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Berens Family -
I used to go to the Hourglass Restaurant with my mom and dad where we would meet your mom and dad. I have very fond memories of both of them. They were both caring and compassionate people - your dad used to have parties at the Hourglass for his entire staff and was very generous - hope you find comfort by wonderful memories of them.

Dear Marine, Jonathan & Max,
I am so sad to hear about your Dad. He was truly one of the smartest men I've ever known. He was always kind to me and I greatly admired him. I loved listening to his stories about when he and your Mom were just starting out and hearing his great insights about politics and the economy. I'll miss those funny and interesting conversations with him. He'll always hold a special place in my heart. My love to all of you.
