RANSOM - Elenzer September 23, 2008, husband of the late Dorothy M. (nee Crump); loving father of Augustus (Patricia) of Sanford, North Carolina, Shirley A. Ransom-Goston and Dorothy L. Ransom-Stevens; adopted father of Tonie Winfield; brother of Clarence Ransom; also survived by eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 11 AM at St. John Baptist Church, 184 Goodell St., where funeral services will follow 12 Noon. Rev. Michael Chapman, officiating. Interment St. Matthews Cemetery. Arrangements by THOMAS T. EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
