We are writing to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We were so very sad to hear about Peter, he was a character you don't often encounter in life. We too shall miss him dearly as we also remember him fondly.
It was an honor and the pleasure to know your father.
We shall always regret that we couldn't be with you during this time.
Our thoughts are with you all.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I am also very sorry that I can't be there to pay my last respects. Whenever I think of your Dad, I remember him coming home from work carrying two shopping bags up North Lane. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him, especially all of my family members.
Love,
