Uncle Jay,
You were like a dad for me and jessie, its so hard to say that your gone, I miss you terriblely. I didn't think it would have effected me the way it did, but I am truly in shock.
I just wish I could give you a hug one more time, I really really miss you. You were so good to me and jessie, you had a heart of gold and a smile that went on for ages. I can't believe I won't be able to talk to you... I miss you sooo much.
I will love you forever and ever
Love your niece,
Shana :)

Jay has been my friend since second grade. We laughed a lot as kids and got into some trouble together too! And although we occasionally got into childish fights, we knew we were always friends. Jay made friends with everyone he met. He was generous and caring, and often put his own needs aside to help someone else in need.
Jay was also the ‘life of the party’ and was always able to find humor in any situation. He always managed to find himself in the midst of some gossip, or something strange or dangerous going on around us as if he had a sixth sense for finding these things. And he was always happy to rush to us to tell us all about what happened and make us laugh hysterically!
This is how I will remember Jay. His friendship and memory will carry on through those of us who had the good fortune to know him.
