Raymond Goergen Obituary

GOERGEN - Raymond J. Of Orchard Park, NY, October 7, 2008, beloved husband of 49 years of the late M. Joan (Bork) Goergen; father of Charles (Lizabeth) Goergen of Aiken, SC, Diane (David) Lippert of Simpsonville, SC and Martin (Michele) of Newport News, VA; grandfather of Christopher (Kate) Goergen, Kimberly (Twain) Goergen Pigott, Brian (Cindy) Lippert, Jason (Stephanie) Goergen, Matthew Lippert, Daniel Goergen, Allison Lippert and Dana (Kelli) Zefting; great-grandfather of Ashlin, Kayla, Eric and Daphne Abigail; brother of Leo, Elizabeth Donhauser, Rita DeSoye, Fr. David Goergen MAFR and the late Catherine McGlauflin, John and Paul Goergen. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the F. E. BROWN SONS FUNERAL HOME INC., 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, 9:30 AM, in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Ave, Orchard Park. Friends invited. Mr. Goergen was born in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late John and Lucille Koch Goergen, was a WW II Navy Veteran, worked for AT&T for 44 years before retiring in 1990, was a life member of Hillcrest Fire Co. for 38 years, serving as president, EMT and fire police lieutenant. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Fire Co., 7125 Ellicott Rd., Orchard Park, NY, 14127.
