KAUFMAN - Virginia D. Of Buffalo, entered into rest October 18, 2008, loving daughter of the late Dale W. and Margaret J. (nee Buckels) Kaufman; cherished sister of Frederick H. (Joyce B.) and the late William H. (Olga) Kaufman; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (City Chapel), 102 Linwood Ave at Summer on Tuesday from 11 AM-1 PM, where the funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

I am sorry for your loss. I was Ms. Kaufmann's former Case Manager. I just called to check on her and find out if she was all settled in her room. I am saddened because at our last visit she asked about my daughter and I told her that now that I was not going to be her case manager, I would one day be able to bring my daughter by to see her. She seemed delighted.

She was such a wonderful person ... and extremely courageous and how she enjoyed her independence.

She will most certainly be missed.

I wish the family much peace and blessings.
