To the family of Kenneth Wesolek,
On behalf of all the active members of the Bishop Ryan High School Alumni Association, I offer our deepest sympathy on the passing of "Wez", as he was often called while at Ryan. After reading all the other entries in this guest book, it is evident he was an outstanding individual and one of many Ryan "good guys!"
Sincerely,
Bishop Ryan Alumni Association

Ken worked for us as a bartender at The Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for years. He went with us on a trip to Italy to see the Palio Horse Race in Siena. We enjoyed the Breeders Cup in Canada with him one year. What a great guy! We loved him and will always have a place in our hearts for this dear friend.

I will truly miss Kenny. We worked together at the Marriott and became friends. Later he got me a job at Mister Tony's and I returned the favor by getting him a job at Shennigans. I looked up to Kenny like a big brother and he always made me laugh. I thought the photo of him with a cigar in hand smiling said it all. You will be missed by many my brother.

Wesley,--"What a long strange trip it's been''. With so many amazing stops along the way. Living on Woodette--- puts an unremovable smile on my face.
Then about 5 yrs. later, You're on my doorstep in SO.FLA.---the Boca Hotel,Shooters, the happiness you brought to Ft. Laud.---"MIAMI VICE"---Oh how nice.
Then yrs. later,My ''Escape from New York"(South),brought Bubba & I To your abode in N.C. for a short stay,(think that lasted around 4 yrs.)
It was unforgetable 2 Yankees from BFLO. working in the Siena---the finest hotel in Chapel Hill, with it's cast of characters---beyond belief.
You were the definition of a true FRIEND. Your generosity, &unrelenting kindness will carry on.!
BROTHER, I will truly miss U,and so will all those lucky enough to have known you (thousands)

My sincere condolences to Kenny's family and friends. I have known Kenny since 1981. We skiied so many times together with the ski group from the Marriott. We always had a blast. Kenny had a very unique and happy take on life which, as we all know, was extremely contagious. I moved to Florida 16 years ago and, we lost touch but, Kenny never failed to ask about me whenever he saw friends of mine. My thoughts are with you, Kenny's family and, I send love and peace.

Ken was a great person, friend and neighbor. He always made everyone laugh and would sincerely listen to what everyone had to say. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. The last conversation I had with Ken was on his birthday, it was a beautiful day full of golf, nephews football game and sabres game-what a great way to celebrate his birthday and he was so happy!! He just came back from Carolina, which he described the trip as FANTASTIC! I will miss him and never forget his spirit for life!!!
