Robert Erhart Obituary

ERHART-Robert V. Of Cattaraugus, age 88, died Saturday, September 22, 2007 at TLC Lake Shore Hospital in Irving, NY. He was born October 20, 1918 in Dayton, NY the son of the late Emil and Mary (Winner) Erhart. He is survived by two daughters: Suzanne Erhart of Buffalo, NY, and Merry Lankow of Cattaraugus, NY; brother of Emil F. (Joe) Erhart of Cattaraugus, NY, Marie Ashley of Cattaraugus, NY, and Edna (Harold) Booth of Cattaraugus, NY; grandfather of Bruce A. Lankow of Aspen, CO, and Holly A. Lankow of Okeechobee, FL. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda J. Klein Erhart whom he married on June 3, 1945 and who died on August 7, 2000; his two sisters, Ruth Erhart, and Margaret Cooper; and a son-in-law, Fredric Lankow. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11 AM at Cattaraugus United Methodist Church. Rev. David C. Piatt, Pastor will be officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus. Visitation will be held at HILLS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 55 So. Main Street, Cattaraugus on Thursday from 7-9 PM, Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and on Saturday at Cattaraugus United Methodist Church from 10 AM - 11 AM. Family suggests memorials, in lieu of flowers, to Cattaraugus Free Library, Main Street, Cattaraugus, NY 14719 or Cattaraugus United Methodist Church, Corner of Washington and South Street, Cattaraugus, NY 14719.

Dear Suzanne and Mary, God Bless your father. He has led a full life. We are never ready for this no matter how young or old we are. He was always so kind. Bob will be missed by many.
