Dear Mark and Pattie,
We're so sorry for your loss. Mark-you may not remember me-I'm the daughter of Bernie Satkowski from the auto repair shop on Walden Avenue.Your father was a good friend of my dad's and your mother's brother, Joe, worked for my dad. You and I used to play together when we were very little- I remember how you loved military figures and would play with them for hours. I remember your father fondly- he used to bring us some of the mispackaged goodies from Wonder Bread. He always had a smile on his face which would put one on mine. I remember your mother, too- a lovely, soft spoken lady. I do know that even as a young child I could feel the love both your parents had for you. Like you, both my parents are now in heaven so I truly understand your loss.
On behalf of my husband, David and my sister, Jane and her daughter, Sara- you and Pattie and your son will be in our prayers. God bless you all.
Fondly,
David & Amy Satkowski Shepard
