George Miksch Obituary

MIKSCH-George H. Age 64, of Center Twp., PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2007. He was born on March 24, 1943 in Rochester, PA, a son of the late Henry G. and Margaret (Terrick) Miksch. He retired from Graybar Electric Company after 38 years where he worked in Buffalo, NY for 22 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth E. (Wintermantel) Miksch, Center Twp.; three sons, Thomas G. Miksch and his wife Kelly, Coraopolis, PA, Robert J. Miksch and his wife Linda C., Center Twp. and Daniel J. Miksch and his wife Beverly, Washington Twp., NJ; five granddaughters, Kelsey, Tea, Reagan, Adrianna and Emily Miksch; a brother, John Miksch and his wife Judy, Beaver. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the DARROCH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where a service will be held at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the French Creek Project, Box 172, Allegheny College, Meadville, PA 16335.

My deepest sympathies to the Miksch family. I knew George from Graybar, where he was my Sales Rep. George was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed.
