My Grandmother, Angie Bailey, was Uncle Mike's sister and I remember frequent trips to the homestead to "help" plant or pick in the gardens. Uncle Mike was such a sweet man, always welcoming us all with a big hug and a kiss. Every time he saw me he would say "I love you, Honey." I will always remember his kindness and generosity and I will miss him dearly. My prayers go out to all of you.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Sands and Family

Dear Family: I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike Sr., except for one day while my Mom & I were shopping at Tops, my mom, then about 85 years old recognized him as a friend from long ago. She approached him and asked him, "do you know who I am?" He turned and said, why of course I do, you're Mary Mammoser. They hadn't seen each other in probably 50 years. My mom used to work for him picking stuff, and told me that he was always a nice man. I just recognized his name today, and I knew right off, who it was, as my mother told me of what a nice man he was to her. A real gentleman.
Sorry for your loss.
