Margaret Schrader Obituary

SCHRADER-Margaret Mary Woeppel October 22, 2007; born May 11, 1921 in Buffalo, NY; died in Cohasset, MA, formerly of Elma, NY. Beloved wife of the late Montford A. Schrader; dearest mother of Mary M. Schrader of Scituate, MA. Dr. Schrader earned her Ed. D. in Early Childhood and Remedical Education from State University of New York at Buffalo; She played an important role in the pilot of the national Head Start Program during the 1960's, served on numerous community advisory boards for young children, appeared on television and presented workshops on early childhood education. She was an avid sailor with her husband, and member of the Buffalo Yacht Club. There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10 AM at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Elma, NY. A committal service will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at www.michaeljfox.org. Arrangements by the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME.
