DILDY-Rashida Sharifa Departed this life November 2, 2007, loving mother of Alexis, Alex, Akayla and Amar; the daughter of the late Ernest Lamb and Myra Stewart Dildy; granddaughter of Lottie V. (the late William) Lamb and the late Jimmie and Lillie Stewart; the cherished sister of Sharmone M. Dildy; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday 11 AM until 12 noon, at True Bethel Baptist Church, 901 East Ferry ST, where funeral services will immediately follow. Rev Richard Flood officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by THOMAS T. EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME INC.

My Deepest sympathy to the Dildy family. I Knew rashida for a while as well as Sharmaine she expressed her illness to me and always had a smile on her face. Sharmaine this please watch over her babies and know that she is with the
Lord! I remember talking w/her right after she lost her mother and i told her to read Psalsm 62 and Now I am telling you to read this Psalms it will bring comfort and peace to you in this time of loss. I will miss Rashida deeply with her coming into the bank always making me laugh. May God Bless You and keep you in this time of sorrow. Just know that she has her bright crown and she is soring with the Lord and will be watching over you and her kids as an Angel. God Bless you and your family in the most difficult time.

It is with deep regret that I will not be able to attend your funeral my dear cousin. We were very close growing up but because of our dissimilar path in life, we became distant. Now that you are gone all I can think of is your energetic personality, and the silly times me, you and Shanthi enjoyed as kids. This is so hard for me to write. We were second cousins who only saw each other during family gathering, weddings and funerals but I always keep you in my prayers. It saddens me that I can't be there for your homegoing. I will miss your smile and your laugh. I find comfort in knowing you are with your mother and sickness will bother you no more.
