To My Dear Grand Mother, Grandma this is the first time I have visited this page .Although you were my ROCK through out my life. It wasn't until the our roles reversed and I became your ROCK , did I realize what you truly meant to this WORLD . Grandma I miss you, I need to talk to you, I wanna hug you , cook for you , laugh and joke with you , I know its selfish of me to want these things , but I do ! Our talks were PRECIOUS , I learned how much of YOU was in me , you told me that you were an introvert, just as I am , and that's why you were involved in so many different things. I remember the secret you asked me to keep , and i have , lol juss between me you and GOD ! You told me that I can only repeat it to you, which means I have to wait until I get UP there with you. Well HOPEFULLY it will be a while. Because I have things to do down here, just as I did for you, I now so for my Mother . Thank You for ALL the lifes lessons , tell EVERYONE up there Shaun says hi , I'll be there in about 40 , or so years OK ..I LOVE YOU

You do not know me, but may know of me. (My Aunt is Margene Banks, from Battle Creek Michigan) and my Grandfather was Henry Woods (Swan Street, Lackawanna). I am so Sorry to hear about your Loss. I live in NYC and glance at the Death Notices every now and again...I would have liked to have paid my respects in person...I remember Queen Ester from when I was a little girl... What a Gem! May God Bless you and keep you...My thoughts are with you...

As you know, Sister Queen Esther Woods was a very special sister to us all and, a "True Trailblazer" in every sense of the word. We will miss her beautiful smile, and her laughter, as well as the words of encouragement that she spoke to so many of us throughout the years!
