Edward McMahon Obituary

McMAHON-Edward November 8, 2007 of Eden, NY; loving husband of Diane McMahon; father of Conner, James, David and Lisa McMahon; brother of Maureen (Eugene) Branch, Margaret (James) Lyons, Joseph (MaryJo) McMahon, Patricia Puglisi, and Kathleen (David) Meier; also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the LAING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2724 W. Church St., Eden, NY where Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Edward was the past president and financial officer of the Eden VFW Post and a member of American-Legion Post 880 of Eden. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association.

I am sadden by the death of Ed. I have great childhood memories of Ed and my brother Bill during our growing up years and I will miss seeing him at Connors for hot dogs. Fun was Ed's middle name. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Ed will be remembered as our Treasurer, Vice Commander, a patriotic American, combat veteran of the U.S. Air Force and, most importantly, our dear friend. His knowledge, dedication to the community and our organization, sense of humor, and generosity will be greatly missed by all.
