As a second cousin I knew "Johnny" when I was a little girl. I remember how hard he worked while going to school and admiring him and his ambition. After marrying and moving away I lost touch with most of my distant family members but "Johnny" always stood out in my mind. Being a widow myself, Jean, I know how difficult it is to lose a wonderful spouse. God be with you in these trying times.

On behalf of all my family, I would like to express my deepest sorrow on your loss of your loveone. The residents of Erie County and especially Cheektowaga have lost a great and honorable public servant. I hope that Jean and her family realize that he touched many people in such a positive way throughout his great career.

Aunt Jean I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle John. Believe it or not I have many memories of him from when I was very young that will live on! He is in a better place and keeping Grandma and Dad company!
