Doris H. Seefried

SEEFRIED-Doris H. Age 86, of Amherst, died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 after a brief illness. Born in Amherst, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Harmon. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl G. Seefried. She was a retired baker from the Williamsville School District and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, A. J. Jurek Post #1672. She was predeceased by brothers William and Edward and sisters Catherine, Bernice and Anne. She is survived by four sons, Carl, Jr. and his wife Renee of Southbury, CT, Robert and his wife Linda of Westcliffe, CO, Paul and his wife Melissa of Sterling, VA and William of Rochester, NY; and a daughter, Dolores of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren, Terri, Carl III, Jessica, Desiree, Jamie, Toni and Traci; four great grandchildren, Cameron, Elizabeth, Brianna and Jeremy; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 11 from 1 to 5 pm at the Urban Brothers Funeral Home, 6685 Transit Road, East Amherst, NY. Funeral prayers will be offered at THE URBAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., on Monday, November 12 at 9:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Church, Pendleton, NY. Burial will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
