Guido Coccionitti Obituary

COCCIONITTI-Guido Of Buffalo, NY; November 11, 2007; beloved husband of Giovanna (Iavenditti) Coccionitti; loving father of Joann (Donald) Eichler, Gilda (Joseph) Cavaretta and Mark (Anne) Coccionitti; dear brother of Ida Theresa (late Andrew) DeMario; also predeceased by other sisters and brothers; cherished grandfather of Stacie, Maureen, Becky, Jessica, Thomas, Michelle and Melissa; great-grandfather of Aidan, Delaney, Maeve, McKayla and Evan; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the O'CONNELL-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 2286 South Park Ave. where a funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martin of Tours Church at 9:15. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Coccionitti was a member of Niagara Frontier Skating Club, Knights of Columbus Father Baker Council and a WW II Army Veteran. Joann and Gilda,

You will probably not remember me-it's been a very long time but I was your first baby-sitter. Your parents and I were good friends for a time and then I moved away and lost track of them. I am now in California and read the Buffalo News almost daily.

I wanted to extend my sympathies to you,your families and your mom on the passing of your dad.
