Dear Pat and family, "Chief" was not only the best chief I ever worked for, but easily one of the best men I ever knew. His bravery and humility stand out alongside his intelligence and sense of humor.

Our love, prayers and deepest sympathies to the wonderful Quinlivan family. We have so many warm, fond memories of Mr. Q but one of our absolute favorites is the one from that treasured Mt. Mercy Father-Daughter dance. We can still see Mr. Q carrying those pizzas to our table in grand style and then all of a sudden seeing the pizzas slide off the trays and down the back of that lady (thank goodness she had a sense of humor too!). We love you, Mr. Q and your great family too. Thanks for your wisdom and wit and for all of the wonderful memories. With love,

Pat and Family - We also feel a sense of loss. As members of Johns B-29 crew we shared a lot of scary moments, but John (Mr. Cool) always had the situation under control. He always brought us home. Now there are just three of us left. Read Vaughn, Bill Browngard and Marshall Zimmer.
