My grandpa was a very awesome guy. He was genourous, nice, and would always listen to what you had to say. I miss him very much and I know he is still in our hearts. I am glad my family is very close at this time. I love you grandpa!

Dear DiPietro family,
My wife and I just heard from Linda this past Sunday about your Dad and we wanted to extend to you our condolences. We truly enjoyed him. I always looked forward to saying hello, sharing stories, and relaying information back to my Mom. We all shared so many memories over so many years and I am grateful he was a part of all of our lives. We will miss him.

Elaine & Family: Bobbie and I are visiting the Hackbarths in New Port Richey and we informed them of our dear long-time friend's passing. We all are deeply saddened; Carl was one of us old time East Aurorans who will always be fondly remembered. Our deepest sympathy to you, Elaine, and to your loving family members. Dave, Linda, family. We're so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved father, Carl. You both know how much my parents and I enjoyed seeing him in the Amherst Sparkle location in my younger years and how much we enjoy seeing you and Linda there whenever we can. Jamie loves working there and being a part of the Sparkle team! Again, our deepest sympathies are with you and your family as you mourn the loss of such a great man.

To the DiPietro family, this has hit me very hard and I am so sorry for your great loss. I will miss coming into the cleaners and sitting for house talking with Carl about the Navy and world problems. I have such a love for Carl, this will be hard for me as well as you to not see his smile. May God guide Carl to eternal happiness.

Dear Dave & family - Was shocked to read the notice on the door of your E.A. store Mon. Had just enjoyed a long visit with your dad a week ago there!
Will send a follow-up snail-mail card. First met your father when I rented-a-storage spot during a move to L.A. in '96. Remember re-connecting the night of your election-as-mayor & of course, at the E.A. business.
Bill Klaus & I send our thoughts & prayers. Time does heal & happier memories do shine forth. When my mother unexpectedly died-in-'93 at Mercy Hospital, that was my experience. Take care ...

I have known Carl for many years, as his daughter Linda and I have been friends since grade school. There are many fond memories I have of Carl. Besides being a good husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, Carl was a hard working man, good at his craft. His strength, courage, strong religious faith, and will to survive kept him going through difficult times. Carl will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
