Thomas Weld

WELD-Thomas 57 of Duluth, MN, passed away Tuesday October 23, 2007 in Santa Monica, CA following a Research Clinical Trial and Hospitalization for Pancreatic Cancer. Born in Buffalo, June 6, 1950. Son of the late Warren and Irene Weld; he resided in Buffalo, Tucson, AZ and more recently in Duluth. He was a graduate of Kensington High School and Fredonia College. Career included Radio and TV advertising and in later years practiced Certified Therapeutic Massage. Tom was predeceased by an older brother Jim in 2004; he is survived by long time companion Patricia Toth, brother Richard (Ingrid) Lakeland, FL, Robert (Beth) Charlotte, NC, sister Barbara of Penn Yan, NY and several nieces and nephews. Tom's interest included pets and repairing bikes for children who wouldn't otherwise have bikes. He did radio announcements for his local Human Society helping to house animals. Friends may memorialize Tom by donating to charity of choice.
