To my wonderful family... Wow will Aunt Karen be missed. What a great strong woman. I always loved the way she told it like it was! (I'm a lot like that, to the dislike of some!) Butch, Brian & Kati,
We lost a friend the other day. We search for words that begin to say. What a loss it is to not have her near. She's gone to heaven leaving without a fear. She was a caring lady with so much love for others. She's left behind all those that care, a loving husband, son, daughter, friends, sisters and brothers. She's moved on to the next stage of life. We've lost a loving mother, grandmother, a friend and a wife. Rest now Karen your work here is done. Your place is in heaven with angel wings and a crown of your own. A new life has begun.

Butch, Brian, Kati, Rob, Emma & Evan,
It’s hard to find words to express how sad our hearts and minds are on the passing of Karen, our cheerful friend. Our faith tells us she has gone onto her final reward, a place reserved for her in heaven. Karen was a light in a dark moment; a chuckle late at night through her e-mails; a joy on an outing for wine-tasting; a delight when we found angels to sit on our windowsills. Warm memories sustain us as we know Karen’s spirit, courage and zest will live on. At Mass yesterday the readings and songs brought comfort to my misty eyes and soul as I prayed that Karen’s peace will bring peace to each of you. We are sorry we cannot be with you today in Buffalo; we’re with you in spirit.
Our love, condolences and prayers are with you.

There are no words to describe a light like Karen. As Brian's oldest sister we always applauded his choice. So many times when I needed an understanding heart she was there-always upbeat no matter how she felt. Her suffering is over and now she can plan parties and holidays for little angels in Heaven.Another chunk is out of my heart now.I love you little sister.Patsy

Dear Brian and Family:
I was so sad to hear about Karens passing. You always think you have enough time to fit everything in, but you learn the hard way you don't control life. I wish I could have been there. However I'll always have wonderful memories of the good times.

Karen, I miss you so very much, I know you told me not to be snd and celebrate your life. Through your wonderful spirit I will do this. I promise I will celebrate how wonderful it is to have a twin like you. We always turned to each other in sadness and happiness. I will always rembember you with that great humor you had. You helped your brothers and sisters to accept death as I know you knew it was coming soon. Thank you for that wonderful outlook on life. You believed each day was worth living..

My deepest sympathies to Butch and the the kids and grandkids. Karen was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, someone who could make you smile when you didn't think it was possible. I have countless great memories with Karen at Nanny's house in Lackawanna and she was all a person could ask for in an aunt. When I needed someone to talk to, she was ALWAYS there without question. This world is a much sadder place without Karen and she will be missed. May you rest in peace.

Butch and Family,
With deepest sympathy for your loss.
Seldom do we find ourselves without words to express our feelings but Karen was not only a unique person but she limited her friends in expressing themselves by forbidding them to get mushy or sentimental be that in conversation or writings.
Karen gave 100 % of herself into her relationships always considering other people.
She wanted everyone to have what she had be that happiness or material things
Karen was always so positive in her approach to life and expressed this with that smile that warmed the coldest of hearts.
Karen celebrated each and every holiday as she lived, full and to the maximum allowed
We are blessed and thankful for the years she has been a part of our lives, she will live forever in our hearts.
Love and prayers

To Karen's Family,
I extend my deepest sympathy to each of you and mourn with you in the lost of this special person. In the 7 years I've known Karen (via email), we shared so much about ourselves, our family and our lives, I felt we were virtual "sisters."
I will miss this dear woman more than words can ever convey so I want you to know I truly sympathize with your loss and will keep you in my heart and thoughts during this time of incredible pain.
