This Thursday December 6th, 2018, it will be Eleven years since you left us. I still remember that day as if it were yesterday. 1006am. Maria called to tell me that you were bleeding out. Aortic tear, nothing could be done. It was moms birthday. Dads heart broke too. Now youre all together & I miss you all so much give mom & dad a hug for me Till we meet again. All my love.

Not a day has gone by since Andy passed away where I have not thought about him. He was always an awesome friend and team mate. I know that he is still watching our backs as he always did. I am a better person because I was blessed with the opportunity to have known him. I will sadly miss him but will never forget him.

To Family and Friends: I just heard the news today and I am still in shock. Andy was one of the finest men I've ever met. He was the embodyment of a gentleman, strong but kind, unselfish and loyal. He was a warrior and will live on in the hearts of those he touched. I'm proud to have been able to call him my friend. One night after a long talk he told me he would be proud to go to battle along side me. Truth is, I was proud to have walked along side him in life. Brother, you will be missed. Family and friends will be in my prayers.

I sorry that the world and you had to loose such a great person. Andy and I always had many laughs together or at each other. He had our backs as we had his. A true friend and soldier. If you need anything all you have to do is call. Andy has left the mortal world, but we carry a piece of him in our heart's, and he watches over all of us. I am honored to call you my friend Andy!

Andy was the best field training officer that I could have ever asked for. From day one I considered him a loyal friend. He was a man that made you feel proud and honered to be on his team. I will always consider him my mentor and friend.

Andy, you were a great patner and always the best back-up anyone could ask for. You were truly the best at whatever you did. Although we lost touch in recent years I always smile when I think of our antics on Ashland. Maria, I am truly sorry for your loss. I send my condolences to the Hoelzl family. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope that you can find comfort in the promises found in holy scriptures where it says: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." --(Ecclesiastes 9:5). It's a relief to know that you loved one is in a deep, peaceful slumber, not experiencing any pain and not even remembering the anxieties, aches and pains that life may have brought before his passing. I hope this brings as much solace to you in your time of grieving as it has in the past for me. My deepest sympathies...

Andy was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. He was a solid team member and an asset to the Law Enforcement Community. I, enjoyed the many laughs that we had going through the academy and working in the jail. He is certainly, going to be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you Maria and to your extended family.

Andy was a great friend. He had touched so many with his kindness. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. We had some great times together and he had saved my butt many a time. I will miss him so much and considered him my best friend. I know he is in a better place.
