Francis Nowak Obituary

NOWAK-Rev. Francis T. December 6, 2007, age 75, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved son of the late Frank and Laura (nee Zielinski) Nowak; dearest brother of Joseph (Lee) Nowak, of Ann Arbor, MI, Leo (Eleanore) Nowak and the late Walter (Josephine) Nowak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd., (west of Harlem Rd.). Fr. Nowak will lie in state Monday from 9-10 AM in St. John Gualbert Church, 83 Gualbert Ave., where a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Most Rev. Edward U. Kmiec D.D., Bishop of Buffalo, will be Principal Celebrant. Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. John Gualbert Preservation Fund, 83 Gualbert Ave., Cheektowaga, NY 14211.
