David was the father of my best friend when I was little - I think I spent as much time in the Pollack house in summers as I did my own.
Growing up, I wished I had a dad like David. I'm very lucky that I had a chance to know him.

My sincere condolences to Linda and the family on your loss.
My friendship with David goes way back, in fact, my father and his were old friends as well.
Although we didn’t see much of each other, David was always the personification of a true gentleman, and I always enjoyed bumping into him at Temple or at the concerts to shmooze a bit.
It’s always difficult losing a loved one, but I can only hope that the good deeds that David did during his lifetime and the wonderful memories you shared will in some degree bring you some comfort and strength during this trying period.

Dear Linda, Richard, Michael and family. I first found out about david yesterday and tried calling to speak to him. left message at store.this morning I was shocked when i read the notices on buffalo.com.even though we may not have been close in our later years, i still have very fond memories of our years growing up. we were practically inseparable and more like brothers then good friends. i especially enjoyed our visit last year when david came to arizona with your mother. we were able to catch up on a lot of years.i only wish that i had known just how sick he was.once again please convey both brenda and my condolences to the entire family.
