Dear Bratek Family and Kerry,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I have very fond memories of Mike. I met Mike 15 years ago through Mike and Allison Weller. The four of us were hanging out and Mike was telling us how he loved to get mail when he was away at school, so we became pen pals when he lived in Arizona/ Texas. When I heard of his misfortune I looked for these letters and I found a few. I read them, laughing and crying at the same time. These letters exemplify who he was and what he did 14/15 years ago. Mike and Allison have these letters, as they make reference to them quite a bit, if you would be interested in reading them.

I love you all so much. So many of my memories w/Brandy include Michael, 26 years of them. I'm at a loss for what to say. I am so sorry for all of you/us. Michael was a genuine friend. And, though I have not lived in the area for quite some time, it was devastating to hear! I have many found memories of him from High School. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten!

There are no words to describe what the world has lost now that Mike is gone. My mom will miss him more than you know. She loved having him live upstairs. Our sincerest and deepest heartfelt sympathy to the entire Bratek family, especially Gene and most of all, Kerry. He loved all of you very much. He will be missed by so many people.
