Peggy's family and mine went back a few generations to her grandparents and mine. On the occasions when it would come up, primarily with her husband Gerry and her Uncle Manny, I would usually bore them with my gratitude for her mother (Janet Caldwell Reback) and stepfather (Marcus Reback) for having introduced my parents (Clara Franklin and Louis Dribben) to each other resulting in my being born. In many ways, Peggy was the most private of people and yet eager to see what was going on around her. She was blessed with Gerry as her husband. And, what a sorrow for their children to lose them both in so short a time. They all have a fine provenance of grace and quality and honor.
