Diane Laarakker Obituary

It is with sadness but also relief that our beloved wife and mother, grandmother, Diane Laarakker was released from this world of care and pain into the arms of her Blessed Lord and Saviour. Diane, late of Barrhead, AB passed away at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Hans; children; Henry (Jennie) Laarakker of Severn Bridge, ON; Jane (Lewis) Elzinga of Peers, AB; 7 grandchildren; Amanda (Greg) Elzinga - Pugh; Stephanie (Cam) Elzinga-Bluck; Nicole Elzinga, Janelle Laarakker, Katelynn Laarakker, Christy Laarakker and Angela Laarakker; 1 brother and 4 sisters. Diane is predeceased by her parents, Jannigje and Tijmen Leenders, a brother, Dirk Leenders and sister, Jannie Gilles. Memorial Service was held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. from the Neerlandia Canadian Reformed Church with Rev. Ralph Pontier officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cure PSP Canada (curepspcanada.ca) or a charity of your choice.
