Joseph Sloda Obituary

Mr. Joseph Sloda, late of Barrhead, formerly of Cherhill, passed away on March 11, 2015 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife of 57 years, Ida Catherine Sloda, his 2 children; Perry Sloda and Barb (Randy) Donald, his 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Terrance Opfergelt, Ashley Opfergelt, Brent Donald, Denise (Randy) Craig (and their children, Seth and Hannah and Michelle Donald. Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sloda. A Funeral Service was held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Pype officiating. Interment followed at the Lunnford Cemetery. Donations are gratefully accepted directly to the Cancer Society of Alberta.
