William Brian PINKERTON

1949 - 2022

Passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022, at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario after several years of declining health. Brian was born January 21, 1949, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and spent most of his life in Cambridge, Ontario. After attending university for business, Brian owned and operated several enterprises throughout his life including a safety supply business, mortgage brokerage and even a barbershop. Brian had many passions including travel, golf, cars, boating, and renovating homes, but none could surpass his love of spending time with his friends and family. His strength of spirit, sense of humour and big loving heart drew people to him, making everyone who met him feel loved and welcomed. This strength and his loved ones kept him fighting for so long. He is survived by his wife Theresa Pinkerton. Loving father to son Scott Pinkerton m. Kathy Pinkerton; daughter Sheryl McDonald m. Edmund McDonald and stepdaughter Danielle LaGrone m. Matthew LaGrone. Doting Grandfather to Camryn McDonald, Casper McDonald, Wesley Pinkerton, Cameron LaGrone and Shira LaGrone. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel Pinkerton and Irene Pinkerton. A special thank you to the many doctors who cared for Brian especially Dr. Misra and Dr Wang. Numerous nurses in hospital and at home with Care Partners. Donna you were so kind to Brian. Madeline with CBI, a compassionate PSW. At this time in accordance with Brian's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life will take place in the future, date, and location to be announced.
