The last dough has been rolled and the last page turned in her book. Her place at the table now sits empty but our hearts will forever hold the memories of our dear mom Paulette Bujold; born Dec. 2, 1947 in Dupuy, QC to Rita & Honore Perth. She was treasured; as a mom, as a sister, as Mamere, and as a friend. Besides being a taxi driver and pizza master she worked at the MNR for 25 yrs, retiring in 2005. She was an avid reader, card player, and enjoyed days spent on the lake fishing. Predeceased by her parents and brother in-law John, she is survived by her siblings: Carole Johansen, Gaetan Perth, Diane Perth, Carl Thibodeau (Laurie), Joanne Gibson (Pat), and Richard Thibodeau and her children: Ginette Abu (George), Michelle Harrison (Dale), Gilles Bujold (Loralyn), and Carl Broom (Jenn) and her former husband Paul Bujold (Betty). She was ‘Mamere' to Talysha & Cordell Bujold-Abu, Tyler, Nathan, & Curtis Harrison, and Jaden & Madison Bujold. Numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends will also miss her. We wish to thank Drs. Kennedy, Davis, Simpson, and Brown and the nursing staff at the Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. A ‘Celebration of Life' will be held in Thunder Bay on July 22, 2017, at the Moose Lodge, more information to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Center in her name would be appreciated.

Our sincere condolences to Paulette's family. I had the pleasures of being her friend for 40 odd years or more. We were like two peas in a pod when we lived in Ignace. Always together. You will forever be in our hearts my dearest friend. Going to miss you dearly!! Until we meet again . R.I.P. Heaven has a new angel!!

Please accept my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Paulette. I had the pleasure to work with Paulette at MNR in Thunder Bay. She always had a big smile on her face, and a warm hello. When I first met her she said I went to school with your brothers in Dryden. I quickly realized she was Gaetan's sister, who I went to school with. Then to my surprise, was her partner in crime, Jesse, who now lived in TBay, who I knew and worked with in Dryden. We have many mutual friends here in Dryden. It is truly a small world. Paulette sure fought the battle and she will be missed. Pretty sure she is off playing some game of chance and meeting up with old friends. Love and hugs, Diane Kameda.
