Vernon Carter Obituary
Early morning on May 14th, 2022, at just 63 years old, we lost Vernon Dale Carter. Loved by so many, including his wife Jill Donaldson, his family, friends and his children Garret, Meagan and Paige. Vern's endless talent, humour and amazing food are just some of the things that will never be forgotten. He was a part of the amazing Ladner community for almost all his life and will be missed by all. A celebration of his life will be held at Fisherman's Hall on June 24th, 2022, from 1pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, we will have a donation box at the celebration for the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society, applied to Hospice Program Room or Patient Comforts.

Vern lived larger than life. Whether he was building homes, creating furniture and toys or cheffing one of his show stopping meals he did it better. Always looked forward to an afternoon of hanging in his workshop trading stories or watching him create. His humour, generosity and kindness will be forever missed.
