October 30, 1980 - September 21, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan David Hornby, age 41, on September 21, 2022. Jonathan was the beloved son of Jim and Mary-Anne Hornby, brother of Christopher (Amanda) and Sarah (Kyle), uncle of Alice, nephew of Marc and Pamela Deslongchamps, cousin of Corinne and Alison (Alex) and dear friend to so many. Above all else, Jon will be remembered for his huge heart, humble nature, and unforgettable sense of humour. Always willing to help anyone who needed it, he was kind and truly selfless. Jon brought laughter and warmth to everyone he met. A talented craftsman and business owner, he had a creative mind with a keen eye for design. He loved sports, but basketball most of all as both a fan and a great player. To know Jon was to love him, and we will miss him so much. In lieu of flowers and in Jon's spirit, please extend an act of kindness to someone in your community. A celebration of life was held on October 2nd.

We are so very sorry to hear of Jon´s passing. Our sincere condolences to you and all your family. He truly was one of a kind. Remember how he would come to our place (the garage hangout). He´d always have a smile and a kind word. Our hearts are breaking for you. Keeping you in our prayers.
