Julie Lyn Wilson

1958 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Wilson, beloved partner of John Malo, daughter of Jimmie and Margaret Wilson, mother of Tiffany Johnson (David) and Adam Melnik (Lee-Ann), sister of Marie Wilson, Mark Wilson (predeceased) and Stephen Wilson (predeceased). Aunt of William Lane (Jenna). Julie grew up in Ajax and moved to Port Perry in 1979. In 1992 Julie moved to View Lake with her two children and has lived there ever since. She had many lasting friendships. Julie loved entertaining and hosted many dinners, where family and friends would gather. Julie loved her flower gardens and she loved to bake and share with family. She also loved birds. She was adamant about feeding them every day in her yard, often sending John out to get more bird seed when she ran out mid-day just so she had enough for the next morning. Julie worked for the last eight years as a Transit Driver for the City of Kawartha Lakes. She loved her job and the many friends she worked with. Julie was kind, generous and saw the positive in everyone and everything. She will be greatly missed. Her celebration of life will be held at the Janetville Community Centre on September 17th from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Donations can be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, if so desired.
