FISCHER, Joachim (Joe) Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Barbara Fischer. Dear father of Jordan (Vanessa). Cherished grandfather of Robert, Damien and Guillaume. Remembered by his sister Mara and his niece Barbara and nephews Michael and Ronnie. Predeceased by his brother Heinz Robert and sister-in-law Brigitta. Joe will also be greatly missed by his family in Germany and Poland, other relatives, many friends and amazing church family. Joe was a major fan of all Orangeville sports, a super fan of the Leaf's and German Soccer. Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200 Alder St. Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by reception. Private Family Burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to Orangeville OSPCA would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Joe in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
