Theodora Vander Hoeven
It is with great sadness that the family of Theodora (Dora) Vander Hoeven announces the passing of our dear mom, oma and great-oma at the age of 90.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lia Dingwell, Ingrid (Charlie) Gatt and Gary Vander Hoeven. Also left to grieve are her grandchildren Donovan, Erin (Brad), Aimee (Chris), Alecia (Bruno), Kyle (Liz) and Ryan (Kim), and her six great-grandchildren.
She adored us with all her heart. Dora will also be remembered by family and friends in the Netherlands.
There will be no service by request. Our family will celebrate our parents' lives in the spring of 2024.
Extreme thanks to the ICU nurses, fourth floor nurses and the doctors who cared for our mom during this difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. Amy Sawchuk, and thank you to the Willingdon Creek day program for always making our mom feel special.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
